Nissan Kicks Launched In India At INR 9.55 Lakhs
Nissan finally launched its compact SUV, Kicks in India today with a price tag of INR 9.55 lakhs (ex-showroom). Kicks comes with some first in segment features and It will compete with Hyundai Creta and others. It comes with two petrol and four diesel engine options along with 3 years of warranty including roadside assistance for 3 years.
Nissan Kicks is launched with 11 colour options including four dual tone combination. It has ground clearance of 210 mm. At front, It has LED projector lamps along with LED DRLs, V motion grille, rectangular fog lamps and other things which makes it attractive. Kicks expected mileage is around 14 kmpl for petrol variants and around 20 kmpl for diesel variants. It has 400 litres of boot space and Nissan Kicks sits on 17 inch wheels and Its Bird’s eye 360 degree camera is one of the first in-segment feature. Other features of Kicks includes leather wrapped soft-touch dashboard, front armrest, adjustable seats, 8 inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, keyless entry, rain sensing wipers, push button start/stop function and others. In terms of safety, It is equipped with ABS with EBD, 4 airbags, vehicle dynamics control, hill start assist and others.
Powering the Nissan Kicks is a 1.5L petrol and 1.5L diesel engine. Its 1.5 litre petrol engine is able to generate 106 bhp of power and 142 nm of torque along with 5 speed manual transmission and Kicks 1.5 litre diesel engine is able to produce 110 bhp of power and 240 nm of torque along with 6 speed manual transmission. It is also said that the Kicks launched by Nissan in India is quite bigger than Kicks which is already selling in the International market.
